not off the practice squad... he'd take some of our 2nd string LBs though i'm pretty sure...

If Mike Barrow isn't 100%, he needs to stay on the sidelines. We don't need Tiki running to his side. I read that Antonio Pierce would be moved to the weakside if Lavar doesn't play. This could be a serious problem because Barrow isn't fast enough to cover the field from side to side as a middle LB. This is why Lemons has been offered a contract. I thought Kheri Campbell player well during the preseason but Coach Williams wants to utilize different LB's for his defensive attacks. Maybe Sean Taylor will be used a little more this game.

I am glad we signed Ola Kimrin, he was impressive during the preseason. He has a powerful leg and an accurate kicker.
I know we have a great kicker in Hall, but injuries can happen to anyone, and kicker is such an important position . It is good to have a great back up.
Plus if I remember correctly Hall makes BIG money for a kicker. If Kimrin continues to improve and equals Halls ability next preseason, Kimrin could be a cost cutting option if we want to sign a new player at another position.
I like Hall though, so do not take this as a knock on Hall. It's just that in the age of the salary cap you always keep an eye out for good cheap players.

i doubt we cut hall, he tackles well (for a kicker) and gets it done... kimrin squibbed a lot... what we really need to look for is a young punter, cause tupa is OLD (38) and will need to be replaced sooner than later...
