I watched it. Brutal. Cramer got bulldozed. It was so rough it was almost uncomfortable to watch. The interview actually ran longer than the time slot allowed, so they had to edit out parts of it. The unedited interview is supposed to be posted on Comedy Central's website today, but I haven't checked for it yet.

There may be an argument that CNBC is really awful, but I just wonder why Stewie never made it until someone on the network criticized Obama? Did they just start being awful 5 minutes ago? He'll run and hide behind "We're just a comedy show", but the truth is, he sees himself as a kind of cultural enforcer. If anyone steps out of line, he's going to come running around the corner to wack you over the head with his comedy schtick. Everybody get and line and shut up.

It was an awesome take-down, one worthy of legendary status. Cramer's attempt to b.s. and lie his way through was comical at times but over all he took his beating like a man child.

It all started thanks to Rick Santelli "losers" comments.
Speaking of culture "enforcers," you have your Jonah Goldberg (http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-goldberg3-2009mar03,0,1748845.column) and we have our Jon Stewart. We love Stewie because he doesn't say things like "the scorpion must sting the frog."

I'm just pointing out that Stewart never had a problem with CNBC until someone said something mean about his messiah.
And if David Letterman doesn't retire soon, Stewie is going to start looking like Prince Charles. He'll be 80 years old before he gets that show.

I personally enjoy watching them both (though Colbert is King).

How many "republican" or "right wing" comedians are there? Just curious.

I asked a cop once why he was giving me a speeding ticket seeing how there were people on the road going faster. You know what he said? I can't catch all the fish in the sea, I caught a fish and you're that fish son.
Stewie is fine, $14 million a year for doing basic cable isn't really that bad.

Intentionally or unintentionally?
