Really? I don't know if Rey is a goner for sure. The first team that desperately could use his services is Denver, but who knows what that FO will do. Also haven't we hear our FO has been impressed w/ the USC LB corp?

I would trade down and get more picks. Maualuga is the least risky but he's still a risk at 13.

Im with you Goat, i'd love to have Rey, or Orakpo would be nice.. (I think) If we can't get either I'd like Oher, And none of those..Then I'd like to trade down. At that point, the best OL player available. Then best PLAYER with the picks we trade down for!! Yes, I said best player. At that point, (hopefully rd 2), I think we may be able to pick up a playmaker at a varity of positions to help this team. Then adress depth in lb, de, ol...

our weakness is offense, we need a OL, if possible draft 2 OL this year

I would love to take a DE to take advantage of Haynesworth's impact.Orapko or Brown would be great.

I'm really starting to like Eben Britton, in part because we can trade down a few picks and still get him. Still I think he might end up being the best tackle in the class. He's durable, big, and super smart. The only thing he needs to work on his run blocking but in a system that emphasizes quick cuts and outside running his finesse style should fit perfectly.

However after hearing Vinny talking about Andre Smith being a top 2 pick before the combine I have a feeling that Smith will be near the top of our draft board if he's there at 13. Vinny loves those value picks and seems to trust his pre-combine evaluations more then his post-combine evaluations. Hence Malcolm Kelly getting a first round grade.

IMO, the best fits for this team at a position of need would be OT Andre Smith, DE Tyson Jackson, and LB Brian Cushing.

Smith is the best player of the three. Tyson Jackson may be the safest pick of the three (solid and versatile but not spectacular). Cushing is the one I have the most concerns about (his injury history and ability in pass coverage are my concerns).

Bottom line: If Andre Smith were to fall to #13, I'd take him. I'd also take Tyson Jackson at #13 if A. Smith wasn't available. I might try to trade down before taking Cushing at #13.

I want to trade down as well, but I wouldn't take Cushing even at #32! The NFLN featured him a lot during the Combine, and he seemed two steps too slow all of the time from game tapes!

I see our biggest needs being ROT, LDE and then SLB! I'd want us to trade back to aquire a later 1st rd pk and a 2nd rd pick! This gives us rd's 1 trough 3 to draft all three needs. If MW is brought back at SLB, and I think it will happen, then I'd see it going 1st...ROT, 2nd...LDE and 3rd...SLB! If MW is not brought back at SLB then I'd see it going 1st...ROT, 2nd...SLB and 3rd...LDE!

If no trade happens then it's ROT in the 1st and either DE or LB in the 3rd, and that is predicated on whether MW comes back!
