Let's hope this doesn't affect his playing status:

Glad to see it. I think it was a good move by the FO to put this into their contracts. I'm looking for a great year from the big guy.

I agree. I never liked the fact that certain players, like Springs, worked out on their own in the offseason. While Springs absence didnt seem to hurt team chemistry, his presense could have benefited some of our younger players. Its also possible if one of the trainers here had been working with Springs, they could have helped make sure he worked out appropriately in the offseason to prevent his recurring hamstring problems. I have no knowledge of the kind of workout Springs did, but i certainly dont think he would have been any worse off if he worked out here with our trainers.

Haynesworth seems like a likeable guy, and having him here to work out with his teammates should help him form chemistry with our players and hopefully we'll have a very tight group in september.

After signing such an enormous contract, I don't think he's gonna to pull a JT.

Yeah hopefully not another crappy BS (Bruce Smith, ironic initials). I am not too worried though, he isn't washed out seems like his best years are ahead. Maybe he is a mastermind of illusions but seems like quite a genuine person.

I optimistically agree. Put differently, he had better be a beast for the money he is getting paid, or the whole team is screwed.

Smith was old when we got him!
