The Goat 03-10-2009, 11:24 PM Looks good in preseason... then we never see him again. Who cares. Lotus 03-11-2009, 12:00 AM Not bad for depth and special teams. Nothing more. Meks 03-11-2009, 12:52 AM think hes a good depth signing. SOUL-SKINS 03-11-2009, 07:24 AM I actually think he's pretty good. He's a pro bowler in preseason then he gets benched. Solid speical teams player, thats about it. SmootSmack 03-11-2009, 08:49 AM Good move, he's an up and comer. terpsez11 03-11-2009, 09:07 AM Good move, he's an up and comer. is he another Antonio Pierce??? SmootSmack 03-11-2009, 09:09 AM is he another Antonio Pearce??? Not sure about that, Pierce was a starter almost from the get go. KLHJ2 03-11-2009, 09:10 AM Yes!!! Sweet!!! We have retained a preseason Pro Bowler! It's about time! WAHOO! Now if only we would have kept Marcus Mason and Billy McMullen. terpsez11 03-11-2009, 09:33 AM Not sure about that, Pierce was a starter almost from the get go. if I remember correctly Antonio was a special teamer until that contract year..I might be wrong but the stats bear it out.. Antonio Pierce: Career Stats (http://www.nfl.com/players/antoniopierce/careerstats?id=PIE190923) as a rookie he had 52 tackles.. thats only 3.25 a game as a standout on ST in 2001...then almost nothing until '04..then the big contract w/NY in '05 in '01 it was Lavar..Shawn Barber and Kevin Mitchell at LB playing for Shotty |
