We better not bank on the DE's we have now . I know we have a very good Defense , Im not sure we can slowdown the better teams without finding a DE that can get upfield and beat the opps Tackle . AC is a damn good DE , but he rarely beats the guy accross from him . We will still have one heck of a D , but we need to get lucky and find a DE in rd 3 .

"Tyson Jackson would be the perfect fit at DE, if we trade down in the 20's

OT Jamon Meredith in the 2nd"

I'd have to agree with this statement...since there is alot of depth at OL, DE, & LB in the draft then trade down, pick up the best DE/LB available in the first, pick up the best available OL prospect in the 2nd and draft the best DE/LB prospect in the 3rd (which ever position wasn't picked in the first)! Putting Gholston or Monte on the edge isn't needed if we pick up a younger faster version of Daniels in the draft (Tyson Jackson) and Jamon Meredith is a sleeper in the second. The man is a beast and can compete for the right tackle spot!

That's the plan! Don't draft at 13...instead trade down and get more picks.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of bringing Daniels back as a starter. He's a good run stopping end and he can slide inside. The Titans moved Haynesworth around the line all the time. I was hoping we could get Canty to do this, but we could have Daniels on the outside on 1st and 2nd downs and then move him inside, with Haynesworth lining up at the DE on 3rd and long.

I wouldn't do this on every single 3rd and long, just sometimes. Other times I would bring in Wilson and hope that he can shed some blocks to get to the QB.

I wonder if there will be a Brady Quinn this year... Sanchez could be that guy but I didn't necessarily mean a QB.

... btw I don't think this will happen to A. Smith.Sanchez and Stafford are both going to free fall. The only team that would consider grabbing one would be the Rams at No. 2, but even with them, when you compare their needs at OT and WR, QB looks filled by comparison.

There's probably going to be a run on QBs between 17 and 20. I'd imagine that one QB (probably Stafford) will go in the top half of the round (and you couldn't pay me enough to guess who likes him enough to trade up), but with NYJ, CHI, TB, and DET picking right there, I bet Sanchez and Freeman are gone in that part of the draft.

I'm wondering what the market for Stafford will be if he slips out of the top twelve. I'm guessing it will be a divided market, which hurts the value of our pick a bit.
