Per the Redskin Insider. This doesn't break my heart.

Willis Picks Seahawks Over Redskins
Jason Reid checks in with this bit of news...
Guard/tackle Ray Willis, the Redskins' top free agent target to play right tackle, has re-signed with the Seattle Seahawks, a league source said.
Willis chose to return to Seattle instead of accepting the Redskins' free agent offer.
The Redskins are now expected to pursue Arizona guard/tackle Elton Brown.

Neither guy is too exciting. But money is starting to get tight. Hope we don't miss out on Elton John...I mean Brown.

Do we know why Brown is the 2nd choice?

You snooze, you lose. Maybe they think Heyer and Jansen can play RT, I don't see Brown as an improvement over either, the guy didn't even start.

How was Willis an improvement? Brown is actually rated a bit higher as a lineman than Willis, and played in a much better offensive line.

How is it "You snooze, you lose." We offered him a contract, he picked to go back to his team -- no huge surpirse. Skins probably made a fair offer that was his market value and he decided to stay where he's comfortable. Understandable.

I don't hear this being said about Brown.
