Well we did get rid of Frost and Brooks so your ten yard theory is out the window! Come on, they are looking to get the best Punter available for the right price. And certainly someone that can punt for more than 10 yards this guy didn't quit high school to be brought in. We have to be smart about how much is spent on our Punter as important (unfortunately) as that part of the game is. We have other needs (OT, DE, LB) that need to be addressed, that far out way the current Punter situation. We now have competition, let the best Punter win the job. His punting average last year (41.8) was a whole tenth of a yard better than Plackemeier (41.7). Is this somehow and upgrade?
