What Position Would You NOT Address This Off-Season

Pockets, do you agree with SFRedskins or not? I couldn't tell from your two posts.

I think we should sign Hunter today, been calling for him for a while. He wants to be here and we need a punter.
Is that a prediction or a suggestion?

I agree with this completely.

I would say punter, but we I don't think we currently have one on the roster, so it's pretty mandatory that we pick one up.

Given our current state at the LB position (I mean right now, today), we won't function properly on D without adding OLB help.

Like CRedskins said, no Evans or Taylor leaves us in a bind at DE. Daniels will probably be back, but who knows how effective he can be given age/injuries. Chris Wilson is a small, situtaitonal pass rusher, and Rob Jackson didn't even see the field last year. If Carter and/or Daniels missed even 1 game with injury, we'd be in trouble.

So I guess O-line it is.Well, it's not realistic to assume that we're going into the season with the current roster at DE. We might draft a guy or sign Evans, Daniels or someone else, but honestly, we're likely doing both.

But then you're addressing DE, because neither one of those guys is on our roster right now

I felt like they didn't count.

I sort of see this as a trick question because all the positions we could have *not* addressed (like DT) we already have addressed.

The position I would put the least amount of resources into is DE. But we still need bodies that we don't have right now.

I don't think we can stand pat at OT, but I don't necessarily think Jansen can't start for us either. I think it's much more critical that we get a Rabach replacement, although the FA Center market is drying up very quickly.

I don't think they do anything with Rabach this year but having a decent backup for him would also point to bringing Kendall back.

I would go DE. We could get Evans back and with Chris Wilson and Buzbee in rotation, we can go with that this year. We need a good punter in the worst way, I feel that our offense still has growing pains (and many more 3 & outs) this year so a punter is critical to pin opposing offenses deep in their halfs.

I would say Punter . Find one or two OL , draft one , sign a vet before camp . Draft a DE , If carter goes down , we have no edge rusher . If we find an upgrade at DE , we could be dominant , just imagine Evans/ Orakpo Haynesworth Griff/Monty Carter , with Golston and Wilson in the rotation . I could really enjoy that line " Stomping " Eli and Romica on Sundays . Screw a punter , lets just go for it on 4th down all year , hell , no fg's either ! BEAT DALLAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish we would do more of that, however, we still need a punter

Having a great punter is a nice weapon , maybe I just believe we will find one , I really hope we find a few blue-collar workers on both lines .
