Good for Dawkins. The fresh air will do him good and he won't have to face Sellers twice a year.
Dawkins Does Denver; Fickle Philly Fans Frustrated53Fan 02-27-2009, 11:49 PM Good for Dawkins. The fresh air will do him good and he won't have to face Sellers twice a year. Ruhskins 02-28-2009, 12:05 AM Good for Dawkins. The fresh air will do him good and he won't have to face Sellers twice a year. Or getting thrown under the bus by McNabb. That Guy 02-28-2009, 12:38 AM great move for us. the eagles are better with dawkins than whoever he's being replaced with. stupid ownership decision there. mredskins 02-28-2009, 12:42 AM The Eagles are getting a bit raped so far, I believe both their safeties are gone now. mooby 02-28-2009, 02:05 AM I'm glad he signed with Denver. I always liked him when he played for the Eagles, and now that he doesn't play for them I like him even more haha. skinsnut 02-28-2009, 02:10 AM If Dawkins leave the Eagles...they are in trouble on defense...and that makes me very happy!! Dawkins could cover a whole bunch of mistakes on that team...just like Sean Taylor did for us. 8 yard gains may now go for 20....thanks Denver!! Can you say flood the middle of the field with 2 TEs!! Probably my favorite MNF of recent memory was the game in Philly a couple years ago. I was at the Arlington Cinema Drafthouse. Tony Kornheiser opened the game and said that Joe Gibbs was Washington's Rocky Balboa except that Joe is real. 21 silenced the crowd with a monsterous hit. Todd Yoder steamrolls Dawkins and puts him out of the game after ESPN pumped Dawkins up to hero proportions in the pre-game coverage. Washington's last touchdown was off tackle behind Samuels. The next morning Doc Walker talks about how much he likes the "Wolverine" but that if ESPN wants to do an expose, do it on Caveman Sellers "because he didn't have to be carried off of the field". Classic! tryfuhl 02-28-2009, 03:33 PM Welcome back to the cellar Philly! 53Fan 02-28-2009, 03:36 PM Probably my favorite MNF of recent memory was the game in Philly a couple years ago. Classic! Nice. That was definitely an awesome game. My beer almost came out of my nose when Kornheiser made the "except Joe Gibbs is real" comment. Speaking of safeties, man I miss Sean Taylor. |
