He raises some valid points, but yeah the cheap shot about firing employees is pretty dumb. Using that logic I guess nobody should be signing any free agents today.

Rather than signing Haynesworth I THINK he should have rehired those employees along with another fifty more.

While the Skins are mired in mediocrity another season, at least I would get warm fuzzies knowing that people who really don't have a lot to do with the on-field product have jobs.

I know that sounds cynical and shitty, it's the nature of the beast.

Oh yeah...when we got Jason Taylor everyone thought...Oh man is that going to free up Carter and he is going to have a big year. We all know how that turned out.

Not trying to be a downer but offseason excitement is running at an all time high and is not being back by substance. The present economy could tell you that is not a good direction to go.

JLC isn't the only one taking a stab at Snyder for the front office layoffs

Snyder's spending comes across as economically brash — particularly for a franchise that laid off at least 23 front-office employees last month. Even if each worker was earning $1,000,000 a year, that savings would barely be enough to cover Hall's guarantee.

I hate the BS stabs about layoffs. The players ARE THE PRODUCT. They are tantamount to the paper that Dunder-Mifflin sell. If Dunder-Mifflin lays off Creed does that then mean they can't go buy paper to sell? At whatever price they need to spend to get it?

It's a stupid argument that doesn't merit any response

Thank you. It's kind of counter-intuitive to say a team or company that goes through some layoffs should be forbidden and/or ridiculed for spending money in an attempt to improve it's product.

I agree but you and I both know there are a good amount of people out there who make stupid arguments like this. Look at the Calhoun situation up at UConn. Maybe he should have handled it better but his basic sentiment was right on the money.

No offense but the thread title is kind of gross can we change it by any chance?

Edit: Thanks.

Can we ban/lock any posts that have the letters JLC in it? Seriously, the dude spits haterade all over Redskins Land. Had the Danny not signed Haynesworth and opted for 4-5 lesser players/contracts JLC would have crucified him for that as well. I can read it now "Snyder failed to address the D-line by missing out on the best available player" Damned if you do, damned if you don't. It wouldn't matter who they picked up, JLC would have something negative to say.

He needs to jump back on the Campbell Soup can label or move to Dallas!
