I think acquiring Dockery at a reasonable price would help us big time. He's not ancient like the rest of our line, and after being cut I don't think he's in a position to ask for much $$. I think this can allow us to get a LB in the draft with the first round pick, and/or add youth to the line with the rest of the picks.

"Reasonable price" is subjective. I'm no expert, but he one of the better o-linemen currently available (certainly better than a Stacey Andrews). I imagine he'll get a decent payday somewhere with all the cap room available around the league.

And I would like to see Dock back in D.C. by the way.

"Dockerey had a subpar year in 2008 and was not dominant enough, particularly in pass protection". I go to Bills games. he played less than subpar.

he may be 28 but will be 29 by season opener. I would'nt be to excited to get him back but he's still young enough to bounce back so yes. 3.5M

Problem is he could be in line for another pretty big payday though…any halfway competent lineman under 30 seems to break the bank these days.

he wont be in line for another BIG payday, but he would certainly be in our price range. I'd love to have him back and he is well worth a contract averaging 4-5M a year but not much more than that.

Personally, i'd love to have him back.

Yeah I was going to say something along the lines of $3M - $4M a year.

... Dock will play better when he's back in the B & G, especially playing alongside Samuels. It's time for the big guy to come home and I hope this is our next FA move.

I love this shi......We should jump all over Dockery, hes not going to get a huge payday anywhere, he was just cut outright to save 25million under the cap for the bills..
Give him a 7-8 mill bonus and 5mill per yr and lock him up at guard for the next 4yrs
