Where we are with Jansen right now (massive decline in talent, too expensive to cut) is where we'll be with Samuels in a few seasons. I know, I know, there may not be a salary cap... Yes this could work!!! Well, Jason Taylor is definitely not taking a pay cut, and cutting Jansen would cost us $2M more than it will to keep him.
