If we are including FO:
JKC (best owner in all of sports, ever)
Beathard (great talent evaluator and one of the best ever at finding unknown talent)
Gibbs (greatest coach)
Darrell Green (top cb ever, face of team for amost 2 decades)
If not:
Green
Monk
Riggo
Gibbs

Beathard was the best ever and has the SB's (7) to show: KC, Miami, Washington and SD. That's why he should be in the HOF one of these years. JKC (the squire) without a doubt!!
I don't think you're thinking of Charlie Brown...maybe Larry Brown?
Sounds like he's talking about Joe Washington.

Good call...without the Hogs, the Redskins don't win any of those 3 Superbowls.

Sammy Baugh (no one here saw him play, however records are his voucher).
Gibbs (Top Team Coach)
Green, D (Face of the modern Era Redskins)
Toughest is the fourth...Maybe Jack Kent Cooke, Sonny Jerguson (given post career work for the Skins), let the debate begin...

I would pick Baugh, Riggins, Gibbs and Monk.

ESPN's latest "Hey look at us" feature on Sportscenter has fans voting for who they would put on a Mt. Rushmore for sports figures from their state. That got me thinking (see ESPN, it works!) about who you'd put on your Redskins Mt. Rushmore. 4 faces, players or coaches, here's the caveat-that you saw play or coach for the Redskins. Who would you put up there?
Here's mine:
Darrell Green
Art Monk
John Riggins
Joe Gibbs
Paintrain, I enjoyed this thread but it was really tough for thoughs of us watching the Skins from the 70's and before. We really had such great players, to many to list. I still miss many of them. I have been watching them since mid 70's. But I'm really attached to the team of the 80's I seen the birth of the Hogs and watched them become the most dominate force the NFL has ever witnessed IMO. I seen Riggins carry three guys on his back for a extra 10 yards. I seen Darrell Green in his rookie year. We didnt have to worry about losing our guys to FA. They were like family. Well before this becomes a walk down memory lane. I just want to say, we would have to use the entire mountain for our Rushmore.
I find it incredible that Im still emotionally attached to the guys of the 80's. All of the names posted are worthy. You guys that are in your mid to late 30's or older know what I'm talking about. Although we had our share of heartbreaks. Over all. It was a magical time for a Redskins fan.

Sammy Baugh MUST be on it!
I'd replace Riggo with Baugh, only since we had to share him with the Jets.
