and the republicans aren't? this administration took part in the biggest expansion of government, ever. and they also had the biggest turn around, as far as surplus vs. deficit. but yet they keep preaching smaller gov't, and less spending. talk about hypocrisy....
Cannot argue with that. Its one of the reason so many got voted out of office because they left the consevative way of thinking. Bush was no conservative and I find it funny when people call him one.

Too bad our economy isn't reliant on the sales of Obama t-shirts, and other shwag with his likeness. Because that crap is making a killing.

Thats a good point about the T-Shirts! I hadn't realized that, but Obama was selling those T-Shirts (Creating Jobs) before he even took office. I kind of like that. He's not leaving a stone unturned and he started early! I mean, he's even gone all the way down to expanding T-Shirt Factories to help stimulate this economy. And that is truly amazing! I can't wait to see what he has in store for the other factories that desperately need his help! :)

What about Bush spending more $ fighting AIDS and Malaria then any man in history , 17 $ billion ? Did you know that the party that cares the about the poor banned DDT What the World Needs Now Is DDT - New York Times (http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?sec=health&res=9F0DEEDA1738F932A25757C0A9629C8B63) That has led to aprox. 40 million people dying ? Look up DDT / Rachel Carson . Too bad Clinton did not feel that was an important fight , like invading Haiti ?

There you are again Blaming Clinton............................Clinton was a darn good President! He got this economy booming. He got us on very good relations with the world.

Hey! I bought stocks When Clinton was President. You know how I did it? I played darts! :laughing- Yes, you read that right. You see I could only afford two Roth Ira's and they were going to be my high risk and high reward stocks. I was pretty proud of myself, because most people at my age could only afford one. Anyways, there were six good stocks to choose from. And I couldn't make up my mind which ones I wanted. So............I tacked them to a dart board and then threw some darts at it. Wham! I bought a stock! It wasn't to bad! They went WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY up too! ALL OF THEM! They were doing pretty good; until Bush stole the election. Then they started to nose dive. :vomit:

I would like to see someone do that now after Bush has held the White House for 8 years! In fact, lets not see it. Lets just hope that we don't go into a deeper recession. Man, things would suck if we got much worse.

I'm sorry what were we talking about before? You brought up Clinton and it got me thinking of some happy times.............................Oh yeah, Bush being investigated. You asked me what has he done thats illegal. Well, two words:

Valerie Plame.

One sentence:

Bullshit info on the Iraq war, which led his country to war.

Another thing and it probably isn't illegal, but it should be:

Sitting on his ass reading My Pet Goat while his country is under attack.

They also want to investigate him for firing attorneys or some crap like that. They tried to investigate when he was in office, but they couldn't. Bush didn't allow it. I wonder why? Don't you?

First off you do not buy a Roth you set one up using a financial product. You have a limit of how much you can put into one but having two does not make one bit of sense so please explain this.

Dude, I filled out a form and sent a check. I call that buying. I do not remember setting up a financial product. I just remember throwing the darts then sending a check with the paper work, but it was a while ago.........................................I'm a little confused. Explain what exactly? Having two roths that were kicking butt ruled dude! You do realize that you can take money out and use it for college right? And if you leave the principle alone you can roll over your profit and buy another stock without any taxes or anything else! I believe there are some more advantages too. I just can't think of them right now, but those two things alone made it worth it.

The point about having two Roths using stock as the investment tool to fund the Roth is what does not make any sense. A Roth is just a plan that you can put a maximum of $5,000 (for the average single person) in this investment which is taxable but it builds tax free and at age 591/2 you can take withdraws without paying any taxes. I guess you could by 2 Roths but you could still only put $5,000 combined into the accounts (I'm still not sure if thats even true). You can use the money for college but there are restrictions to how much you can use without getting hit with paying taxes on that money.

Don't you?1992 YouTube - Gore criticizes Bush for ignoring Iraq's ties to terrorism. What did I accuse Clinton of , and what have I been wrong about ? What Stocks did you invest in or did you buy mutual funds ? The dot com bybble burst in 2000 , Clintons last year in office . If your stocks went way up , why didn't you sell some of your shares ,,,, greed maybe ? Sorry about your pet goat :) Have a good day miller .

If you worked for Senator Carper then why didn't you do more research for him? I mean there's the Senate Intelligence, The State Department, The CIA, The Joint Chiefs, Naval Intel, the NSA, and countless other ABC departments.
Don't tell me Bush had all of those agencies in lock step with him when people like Collin Powell said it was a bad idea.
What about Bidden and Hillary? Don't tell me they were bamboozled into a war. All that hog-wash about being fooled into a war doesn't work for me. Actually if your stupid enough to get fooled into a war you don't need to be on Capitol Hill.
That may work for Joe on the street. He isn't privy to the same intelligence that Biden is and doesn't hear the same things Hillary does.
Those catch phrases may work on a college campus but not everyone easily subscribes to, Bush Lied and People Died, Compassionate Conservatism, or Shovel Ready. There are plenty of farms here in Varina with cow dung that are shovel ready. Can we get 120 mil? Go tell a vet missing a leg, gee I'm so sorry but that dastardly Bush lied to me. So what if he did? That just make you a sucker.
The point is that the Democrats played politics with the lives of our soldiers. If they had stuck to their principles then they would've voted no. Ron Paul did why couldn't they?

"Who is more foolish? The fool or those that follow him."
Obi-wan Kenobi

Firstly, I cannot believe you quoted someone from star wars as a way to call senatorial democrats foolish.
Classified information isn't available to all Senators and Bush manipulated the information to Congress to get them to vote for a war in Iraq.
