I not impressed by the fact that he threw so few int's because he didnot throw very many TD's to go along with that. Look for the people who think he is a very good QB I'm not sure what you see at this point. For the people who think he should go or get benched I feel we need to give him one more year in this system. I think with either of these views JC's career here boils down to next year.

The low TD total goes back to the dropped passes. So many promising drives stalled out due to the WRs dropping passes on crucial downs. It's hard for the QB to get in a rhythm, much less put up numbers when he can't rely on his receivers and is getting poor protection.

I'm beginning to think some folks just aren't going to be happy no matter who is playing QB for us. Why is no one complaining about Portis' drop in production? Didn't that affect Campbell's ability to pass, or are we blaming Campbell for Portis drop off too? By no means am I complaining about him, it was a team effort to start 6-2 just like it was a team effort (or lack thereof) to go 2-6. The o-line's play directly correlates to the teams record in each half of the season. That's how it went down from where I was sitting.

HAIL!!

CP's drop came from the fact that in the 2nd half of the season the Skins were often behind and had to go away from the run and more to the pass. It didnt affect JC's ability to pass it affected his chance to succeed because he had a larger burden placed on him and he didnt deliver well enough.

I think the O line is very important but not totally critical for success as the Steelers didnt have a great O line but what they did have was a QB that could make and extend plays which lead to wins. The Skins didnt have that in their QB.

Not sure where one could find the stat but I don't recall that many dropped passes this year. I do recall a few but not anything more then other teams.

Ben is one of the best at evading the rush among ALL QB's. I think it also helped him having a receiving corps that knew their routes and did'nt give up on plays.

I agree. His WRs arent the most talented (no more than the Skins WRs are) but they play with brains and intensity.

Something our receivers definitely lacked this year. :)

Just a thought, but why have two 5+ page threads talking about the same thing. Why not merge them and label it "All things QB and all about JC".
