Im surprised that I havent heard anything about DE Alex Buzbee, before his injury there was buzz around redskin park that he was the diamond in the ruff passrusher that we had been waiting for....Did he come up at all in the interview about the D-Line???

So is he the new Chris Wilson?

There needs to be a law in DC against the word Upside. I sware if I hear one more coach or exec talking about how much upside a player has I'm going to explode. I mean practically every player on the Wizards is a guy with upside, and they have the worse record in the leauge. It's not that I think it's bad having players with.......upside, it's just that I think the idea is way overrated as it seems like 90% of players with upside don't reach their potential so untill they produce I don't want to hear anything. Of course I realize when you get guys who are 7th rounders/UDFA's then upside is really all you can get but again I'd rather be talking about the players who will produce, not the ones who might.

Taylor wasn't 100% all year and never got in to a groove. I think a healthy JT could have got us 10 sacks or very close to that.

As far as the scheme the big difference from Grilliams to Blache is GW attacked with exotic schemes and loved to bring corners and backers. Blache plays it more straight up and doesn't get very fancy with his blitz packages. GW did a better job at disguising the shortcomings on the DL.

I was refering to the d-line scheme difference between Palermo and Blache, specifically the DEs.

I noticed the DEs lined head up on the OT/TE or slightly shaded outside more often last year then in years past. As opposed to a traditional outside shade of the OT/TE. The DEs were rarely in a 'speed rush' stance.

When Palermo mentioned doing a better job getting pressure and sacks i don't think he was meant blitzing that's up to Blache.

I don't care what the coaches say anymore, until I see some sacks, I have heard enough!

Its sounds promising. I'll feel alot better when I see it happening. I'm sick seeing of JT getting stood up at the line and Carter getting smothered. I am also on Chris Wilson's bandwagon since the end of 07 season. He is fast and has a good spin move but costs pennies compared to JT.
