A few more outburst like that and he will be blacklisted. There are consequence to losing people money or threatening to.
The Dark Side of the Dark Knightsaden1 02-03-2009, 04:08 PM A few more outburst like that and he will be blacklisted. There are consequence to losing people money or threatening to. JoeRedskin 02-03-2009, 04:56 PM Yes. That is likely. I think more than one star has had a promising career shot down b/c word got out they were "difficult". The Goat 02-03-2009, 08:28 PM Wow. Just wow. Gmanc711 02-03-2009, 08:40 PM Yes. He had a right to be upset. Being upset and angrily informing someone that they have just ruined your work is something we have all probably done (I know I have). That's a far cry from the verbal abuse Bale was laying on. He rants about professionalism, but then proceeds to disrupt the entire shoot. A simple "Hey a-hole, stay off the f'ing set" in the proper tone would have probably been more effective. But no, threatening to walk off the set, abusing a co-worker and continuing to do so even after everyone has acknowledged the problem, that's much more professional. He should have just taken a couple bong hits and let it ride. I agree. I mean I dont think its that big of a deal that you say something to the guy, even be kind of an asshole about it...but this is just ridiculous. MTK 02-03-2009, 09:07 PM The guy clearly has some anger issues. ArtMonkDrillz 02-03-2009, 09:40 PM The guy clearly has some anger issues. That's because he's The Batman! itvnetop 02-03-2009, 10:10 PM It sucks that Hollywood plays by a different set of HR rules... people aren't treated like humans, unless you've got some sort of pull. If you're a normal crew member, you're treated as easily replaceable (which is actually true). If anyone has a chance to peep it, rent "Swimming with Sharks." Now that's some real producer abuse. There's the million dollar (actually more literally) phrase. The DP is replaceable Cristian Bale is not. Both from a talent/star stand-point and practically. They can't stop shooting in the middle and start over with a new actor even if they wanted. What needs to happen is that Hollywood has to stop hiring actors who do this. Sort of like Wall Street needs to stop hiring certain jackasses who want to steal everyone blind... not gonna happen in both cases. RedskinRat 02-03-2009, 11:39 PM Not the first time the guy in the background had done this. I like the fact that someone gets screamed at instead of people behaving like the world should protect ****-ups. If Mr. Background can't stay off set then don't work in movies. Nice one, Batman, like it! :Smoker: |
