I'm a big fan of Boldin. I wish the Skins could land him.

it would be interesting to see him and moss together, I think he would make moss look better because moss won't be staring down double coverage every play

Yes, if you threw in your first round picks for the next two years.

well that kinda changes everything but it would still be worth it because it makes a big difference for the whole team

It would change everything only if we have decent O-line.. But we don't, so it would be waste of picks..

True, I think we would be better of with going after TJ Houshmenzadeh and keeping our draft picks. Naturally after the trip to the superbowl, Boldin could use either result as a reason to stay. If they lose, he can say he wants to stay because they got so close and could win the next year. If they win...who would want to leave the champions. Our line is aging and needs repair. Any trade we make for any team should consist of giving up betts and Randle El.

Jeff Blake (I have no idea who he is) was the one who threw balls in 2003

A bit off topic, but does this remark make anyone else feel old?

As far as Boldin, I wouldn't mind having him in Washington, but they'd end up having to get rid of Randle El. Even if that did happen, they would still have a log jam at receiver with Moss, Boldin, Kelly, Thomas, and Thrash.

I figured it must have been a joke

Not me, I'm 20 so I pretty much feel young :)

I am not saying that Skins should try and trade for Boldin.. In fact, I think Skins should stay away from this situation.. Because we have only four picks and we already got two new WRs from last year.. However, I would love to see Boldin in Skins uniform only if it would not cause any long-term problems in future.. What I was trying to prove was that the comment about Boldin's performance without Fitzgerald SmootSmack heard is invalid..

Boldin isn't going anywhere if Fitzgerald has anything to say about it. He is willing to restructure his contract in order to keep Boldin on board. Looks like the Cards are setting the new standard.
Larry Fitzgerald would restructure contract for Anquan Boldin - ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs2008/news/story?id=3867088)
