the amount they offered him was reported weeks ago and it was a real offer. and it is slightly overpaying him but not much.

huh, my bad gaudio. upon reading this i thought you were saying we had already offered him a K, but upon reading the articles you posted i see it is just what JLC is "speculating" and no real offer has been reported yet. sorry man, but your post here is alil misleading. man i was all excited.

The Redskins, as far as I know, haven't officially made any offer to Hall. Real negotiations are expected to happen around the time of the scouting combine

Whatever all I know is if you Cerratto deals Rogers, not only is it retarded to let go of our best young Corner whos about to enter his prime and is already a top 10 cb in the league statistically, but most importantly Cerratto will make a retarded deal of which we will be on the short end by farrr. Alla Jason Taylor will then become alla Carlos Rogers.

yea why don't you google deangelo hall redskins and you get about 8 stories giving the exact amount we offered him.

ProFootballTalk.com - “MAJOR OFFER” COMING FOR DEANGELO? (http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/01/26/major-offer-coming-for-deangelo/)

Redskins by Position: The Cornerbacks - Redskins Insider (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/2008/12/2008_positional_review_-_corne.html?wprss=redskinsinsider)

There hasn't been any official offers yet. What you're referring to was JLC's speculation.

So you want the team to let go the guy that actually catches INTs and has something to prove to the league; and keep the CB that has stones for hands, got sulky towards the end of the season, and lost his starting job? And you are comparing this to the deal for the player (JT) who did not produced b/c his leg almost fell off because of injury, since we all knew that was going to happen, right? Just checking the facts.

Personally I think the best deal would be to keep both Rogers and Hall. Rogers is a damn good corner, and along with Hall it would give us one of the best CB tandems in the league. I don't know why we HAVE to chose one or the other. They are both young, they are talented, and they compliment each other (Rogers is a very good defender and Hall is a ballhawk) Honestly they only reason Rogers should is if...a.) he wants to leave or b.) we get a ridiculous deal.

Finally, front office haters, the last time the FO made a bad deal was when we traded away picks for TJ Duckett (which no one mentions). Jason Taylor wasn't a terrible deal, it was just bad luck. And last year's offseason, was an improvement from the days of the Lloyd/Archuleta-type acquisitions. So unless the FO makes D. Hall the highest paid CB, just quit it with tiring negative remarks, ok? Thanks.
