Bruce Allen is irrelivent really...I am excited at the possibility of there being a thought in Snyders head that maybe quite possibly my front office needs a new voice. If that thought is in his head then that alone is a victory and I couldn't care less if he actually hires Allen, because I will at least know the seed is planted.

I agree with that and......

I think Allen's a decent executive and if you all you want is change for the sake of change then he's fine, but if you want change for the sake of improvement then you can do a lot better than Allen

I agree with that.

It should be noted that this is ProFootballTalk. Until I see something more legitimate I'm not going to pay it much mind.

Well JLC is covering his bases, letting us all know he got a tip about Allen this morning

Thanks. It seems like he just saw the blurb from PFT and tried to pursue, but to no avail as of yet.

I wonder, not to get anyone's hopes up, but if this would end up in a way similar to how the Falcons front office situation worked out, in that Rich McKay stepped aside from GM duties to take a job as president for the Falcons while Thomas Dimitroff was brought in to put together the team. That way we would be free from Vinny putting together the roster and Snyder would still have his buddy. Of course though I would seriously doubt that we go into this offseason without Vinny calling the shots, but as I said before I would rather see Vinny either learn or fall flat on his face and paving the way for Snyder to bring in someone like DeCosta.

Ive mentioned this a couple of times over the past year. Partly from speculation, partly from rumors I hear. But yeah I think it's possible, if not probable that if Cerrato is still with the team in a year or two it won't really be as EVP of Football Operations. I see him running the business side or being a top exec there, and that may include Redskins TV, other Snyder properties, perhaps stadium plans, etc.

Well I really want a Sam Adams but if you make me wait long enough I will probably settle for a Budweiser...

Yeah, those drafts that were listed weren't so hot. It is good that The Danny is looking at a GM though, if that is indeed what this guy will be.
