13th overall - 1 of the 3 top tackles not named Oher; DT raji; LB malangua; DE Orakpo.

obviously a tackle would be great but i am not sold on Oher at 13 when we could probaly get similar talent later in the 1st. i am warming up to the idea of rey malangua (sp?) as he could be a high intensity player which i think we need; raji would be great too . .orakpo is last on my list.

either way i like sitting in the 13 position, lots of attractive talent available.

I didn't know where to put this or know if it has been posted. Here's how Matt Moseley should've phrase this:

Redskins
Primary concern: Offensive Line
Secondary concern: Pass rush/LB corps

Hot Button: NFC East - NFC East - ESPN (http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nfceast/0-8-62/Hot-Button--NFC-East.html)

Not who...what. I have been thinking about a keg of Bass Ale.

Thought I'd heard that had served as a wake-up call to him and he's really been working hard the last month to improve his agility and speed

From what I saw and heard after the practice he was a disaster, he may be working hard now but he has a ways to go. He's VERY weak for a man his size. Guards are usually some of the strongest players on the team. My guess is he has trouble beating LBs in reps lifting 225 at the combine.
He's also very tall for a Guard which means he'll have trouble gaining leverage vs most tackles in this league. I would pass on him

Don't get me wrong. I'm not really a fan and don't want to draft him, just that I'd heard he's working hard to improve.

You been watching the CFB melts yet?

Ten Players to Watch At the NFL Scouting Combine (http://www.redskins.com/gen/articles/NFL_Scouting_Combine__10_Players_to_Watch_4557.jsp )

The Redskins have tipped their hand on Redskins.com. I hope the link works.

You need to read the whole write up on each player, however, since we will not actually draft a guy like Sanchez.

Michael Oher LOT VA
Eugene Monroe LOT Miss

Although I know something about Oher being out of VA. and yes solid Left Tackle, but both these kids are LOT's. Don't think any of these two guys are gonna bump CS outta his job, as he's the best we have up front.

We need to shore up/UPGRADE the front five now, FA, Draft a now starter, whatever it takes. This will be of key importance to our success this season IMO.

1st round - Aaron Maybin DE/OLB PSU - Maybin is a great pass rusher with good instincts. He is OK against the run but has a huge upside.

3rd round - Eric Wood C UL - After watching the combine on tivo yesterday I thought Wood looked great. He pressed 225 - 30 times and looked explosive in drills.

5th round - Cedric Peerman RB UV -Decent Size and Speed and will allow us to trade Betts.

6th round - Andrew Gardner OT GT - Good Size and Durability. Would be a project, but what 6th round pick isn't.

Hands down we need to get clinton portis some help, I think beanie wells or percy harvin, or moreno; explosive playmakers in the first round. dont waste 1st round pick on mediocore OL and DL class. free agency can handle that need.

Interesting thoughts on the weak OL and DL class. Since I don't watch much college ball, I couldn't agree or disagree with that statement. But shouldn't you be able to find an x factor running back in the mid rounds? ala Leon Washington or Darren Sproles? I can't see taking a guy like Beanie Wells coming off of injury with the 13th overall pick.
