I wonder what will become of Saunders? Spags is a defensive guy...will he bring his own OC or keep Saunders in.

We are way better off having the gmen lose spags I think. Garrett hates TO so the chemistry in dallas remains bad and the giants lose thier best coach. This is great news.

Not that this sounds unreasonable, but I am wondering whether this is just conjecture based on the TO/Whitten drama earlier this year or is there some other reports out specifically confirming bad blook between TO and Garrett?

There are reports out of Dallas that there is significant friction between the two. It's not a burned bridge necessarily, but someone like Jerry Jones needs to step in if they both stay.

I heard on TV that he told Jones that he would have to choose between him and TO. It was included in a report about Garret interviewing for the rams. Not sure if it was NFL Network or ESPN where i saw it. Of course i have no idea if it's actually true.

Regardless i think spags is a better coach anyway and is much more valuable to NY then Garret is to Dallas.

The Bucs hired Raheem Morris. We play the Bucs and St.Louis next year. I wonder how we'll fare against these two teams now?

About the same as we would any other year. I know next to nothing about Raheem Morris, although I am glad another man of color was hired -- there are still too few in both the NFL and major div college ranks. Spags may make it or he may not, it depends on who he has to support and surround him. Agree that it will be nice not to have to play against his defenses twice a year from now on...

Spags will make the defense better but will the offense be any better? People thought simply cause AS was going back to the Rams they would be the Rams of the SB year. Last year they were not. I really wonder how much Saunders coach in KC had imput to his plays as well as during the Rams SB year. If AS can get them scoring points then they will be much tougher next year.

I'm not to impressed with the Buc's new coach. I have not heard any type of rumblings through the league like we did for some of the other coach's being given chances. He's like a no name almost. I hope he can do something with the team especailly offensively but I'm not holding my breath.

He's like Jim Zorn.

Is this the same Spagnoulo that The Little Danny interviewed last year for the Head Coach position and turned The Little Danny down or is this the Spagnoulo that The Little Danny interviewed and said that he turned Spagnoulo down because he was too inexperienced for the position of Head Coach?

Also McDaniels and Schwartz. I think that the reason they didn't take the skins job is because they had to inherit the coaches already in place and that turned them off.

The fact that Spags possibly passed up around $9 million in comparison to what he got from the Rams speaks volumes about the lack of confidence coaches have in our front office. I mean what did he get 4 years $11.5 million. Danny probably would have given him $20 million over the same time frame, that or part of the reason Spags turned down Danny was because he lowballed him.
