Championship Weekend Predictions

I predict that I will drink alot of beer and watch 2 games of football. There might be some passing out between events, butI have myself watching a good 75% of each game.

SB; Cardinals vs Ravens.

I'm actually going to the Eagles Cardinals game.
My best friend is an Eagles fan.

As much as I want to see him enjoy himself and enjoy the opportunity to see his team win a NFC championship game in person, I hope the eagles never ever get ring. F that...

Best case scenario: Eagles win and lose in the superbowl in another humiliating loss.
Worst case: Eagles lose and he is pissed off for the 5 hour drive home.

Pittsburgh actually has an offense and a very good defense, I think that will give them an edge over the Ravens "great defense but mediocre at best offense". Regardless of who wins, the score of the game will be 9-6 (it will prob be 3-3 at halftime).

In the AZ/Philly game, the defense will determine the outcome of the game. If AZ's defense shows up again like they did against the Panthers, Philly is in trouble. Otherwise I think this may Philly's game to win.

Setting up a Keystone state Super Bowl, full of bandwagon Steelers fans (and their true fans), and a-hole Philly fans. LOL.

The NFL slapped us all upside our know-it-all heads last week and reminded us of that undeniable truth. Show me one serious prognostication before the 2008 season—or for that matter, from the week between the end of the regular season and start of the playoffs—that had the Arizona Cardinals hosting the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC Championship, and I’ll either show you a modern-day Nostradamus or someone who picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

I’m 48 years old. Over the course of my lifetime the Cardinals have never, ever been anything more than a sidebar.
