That's PR coachspeak for kickin' ass and takin' names. What did you expect? Samuels is ok, but Rayback blows dead dogs?

Who's Rayback...........:)

I've also entertained the idea of going for another team. I just can't though. I think Zs not going to bash the lines but everyone knows that is going to be the focus of the draft and FA. It's so apparent that a blind man could hit it with a snow shovel.

Yeah, it really is hard. I mean surprisingly rooting for this franchise has brought me a lot of great memories over the years. Especially finding this site as I bet a lot of you guys can imagine it's tough talking Redskins football in Georgia. On top of that I think how can I leave when I have memories such as dressing up in my Redskins halloween costume back in October 91 or going absolutely nuts when the Skins beat the Jets on opening night, or of course my favorite memory as of late, beating the Cowboys on MNF back in 05. Of course I would be remissed if I didn't remember where I was when I found out Joe Gibbs was coming back to coach the team. Maybe it is just an empty threat, but I have to say my loyalty really is getting tested these days, though not nearly as much as say a Lions or Bengals fan.

A young quality o-line will only take a few years to build. The Ravens did it in two years without using a a first round draft pick to do so.

I'm just saying what is the harm calling the spade a spade and making the clear statement "Our offensive line has to perform at a significantly higher level to do the things we want to do as a team. We need to protect Jason long enough to find the open receiver, we need to make blocks downfield to help our running backs."

For a HC who has prided himself on openness his actual statement just doesn't sit well w/ me at all. There's no harm in calling attention to what we need to do.

If Rinehart is any indication of the FO's talent at drafting trench talent... we're gonna need to use 1st round picks on o-lineman.

Yeah I hear you. Actually I have a confession to make. I Dirtbag have been flirting with the idea of becoming a Ravens fan. Fans talk all the time about sticking it to management and boycotting the team until something is done about the circus that is the Washington Redskins but they never have the heart to. I remember back in 2001 or 2002 when the Skins were like 0-5 1-5 under Marty how I started watching Ravens games the first one being the first match between the Titans and the Ravens. From that point on as more Ravens games started making their way to Atlanta I found myself becoming a fan to the point where I was rooting for the team in the Super Bowl with the same entuhsiasm that I rooted for the Skins.

Yeah call me what you will but only a fool would stay put in such an abusive relationship that is loyalty to these Washington Redskins. Now I'm not defecting yet but I have to say if nothing is done about the lines, and at the same time we get Vinny peddling his holy draft board then it's going to be very tempting to stand up and leave. Lifes to short to wait for Dan Snyder to learn how to run a team.

If you defect, the name Dirtbag will truly fit you. Just kidding. Seriously though dude, it's just the frustration talking. You wouldn't even have posted this message if the Redskins could have put away the Rams and Bengals like they should have. Don't jump off the wagon because unlike Brett Favre, you may not be allowed back. Stay with the Burgundy and Gold, better days lie ahead! Part of being a fan is sticking with your team through thick and thin. Granted it's been thin for a long time but that's what makes winning feel so good. Now I want you to go say three "Hail to the Redskins" before your next confession, I mean post. The Warpath will cure what ails ya!

Yeah my poor Bro in law is a diehard Lions fan for godsakes!!!! He won't leave em and they are lucky to win 4 games!!!!! But I do sympathize with you, it is getting very tiresome, and that is in a way why when I finally decided to join the site in 2007 I used Gus Frerotte as my ID. It is getting sort of bad when you can look at the Turner era with some nastalgia. Give me a younger Jim Lachey, Jeff Uhlenhake, etc over some of these guys we have now on our line. I know I am going to get ripped a new a@#()*& for saying this, but I miss Gus Frerotte in his prime throwing to Westbrook and Shephard, etc. But a true fan just goes with the flow. We have more SBs under our belt than most franchises probably ever will. THe winning will come again sometime soon I hope, just not sure it is going to be with the current setup though.
