Did you guys see coach Williams running up and down the sidelines, screaming with emotion as his defense was just absolutely dominant? Something this team has missed for at least 7 years. Players hugging the coaches, not talking smack, doing their jobs and getting off the field with an intensity level we haven't seen for years!

Hail to the new coaching staff! Hopefully they can keep up the intensity throughout the season! :httr: :httr:

Yeah I was really surprised at how hyped up he was, he was always more low key as head coach in Buffalo.

I went back and watched the first half of the game last night and I'm still in awe over how well the D played. They were aggressive yet disciplined.

I said it before the Redskins Defense played as a TEAM and it was nice. I just hope they can keep that intensity for the rest of the year. The offense played well but should have put up more points, the stats were so lopsided, which to me shows how dominent (sp) the Defense truley was.

As we all know, it's hard to keep that intensity level up for consecutive weeks....hopefully the coaching staff can keep these guys motivated and ready to play.

Williams rules. A great foil to gibbs on the sidelines, in terms of presence (both have awesome presence, they just do it differently), and a serious leader. His D LIKES to play for him. And remember, this was Gibbs first move as team president. That's why Gibbs is a winner. He surounds himself with great people, and then inspirese them to even greater things.

I think we will keep the intensity this week because the players actually see the outcome of that intesity...They also know that Dallas in two weeks on MNF will be tough so we need to keep it up and keep improving for that game as well...Hopefully there won't be a slip up against the Browns...we saw what happened to the Ravens....and we know that KWII has that game circled...

I love to see emotional coaches and players that love to play for their coach.......

Pretty soon we will hear Williams say....53 men playing together can't lose.........

im glad synder paid him more than he was making before, it gives him a lot of reasons to want to stay in this program and be the assistant coach and help us grow. It would be a huge blow to our guys if he left next year.

Yes tht would be terrible if Williams left......and it would be YET another
defensive coach for Arrington........bet he leaves it that happens........
he will get tired of the revolving door.

arrington can't just leave (contract), and he likes the area... i really doubt williams will leave us any time soon though. H'es built another good system (quickly), has talented players that want to play, and the locals like him a lot. He also has a good organization and talented people watching the other side of the ball for him.
