Just got the salary info for Haynesworth and Dockery.
I still have Haynesworth at $7.9M but Dockery is now at $4.1M.
Updated cap room: $11.08M

i thought they would be fine between jansen and heyer at rt. it would be nice to add a decent lb on the outside. i don't know why they cut frost last year.

They cut him for the same reason he was cut by Green Bay later on. He sucks.

unless they have big plans, i don't understand why they cut jason taylor as well.
Because he didn't want to work out, so he doen't have his heart in the game. Read, Cooley's blog. Bill Parcels knew something about Taylor. I for one leaped pretty high when he was signed last year after we lost Daniels and still give credit to Snyder and Co. for picking him up. His heart's not into it so he has to go. BYE BYE

I'm a bit confused by something. According to the information on this site, the Redskins are 12-13M under the cap.
However, this mornings RedskinsInsider blog had this to say,
Does T.O. Make Sense for Skins? - Redskins Insider (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/2009/03/does_to_make_sense_for_skins.html#more)
There's also the cap issue. We're still waiting to hear from league sources about the Redskins' exact cap number, but Cerrato recently said the team only has a little flexibility to meet its remaining needs.
How can we have 12-13M in cap space, yet have "little flexibility"? It just doesnt make sense. Any thoughts?

I second that question. Unless they think T.O. is going to command big money, which he won't and should not.

I can only think of two possibilities:
1) The cap information here is incorrect (its my understanding the cap gurus here never had the actual contract information and were basing their numbers on how the skins "normally" structure deals).
2) The skins have "ear-marked" a certain amount of cap space for other purposes.
The cap info here is not official, but it's usually very close.

Blasphemy! :FIREdevil
One quick question to the cap gurus, you have Evans listed in your possible signings...since he signed with the 49ers are you guys assuming they'll pick up a DE at the same price?
