That Guy 03-03-2009, 12:39 AM yay free money! GTripp0012 03-03-2009, 01:29 AM 12,000 views in this thread. It's been linked in multiple high traffic places across the blogosphere. Good work Schneed and CC, you guys are famous. MTK 03-03-2009, 09:07 AM 12,000 views in this thread. It's been linked in multiple high traffic places across the blogosphere. Good work Schneed and CC, you guys are famous. Definitely a good job! I think this thread is part of the reason we got knocked offline briefly last night. Once the Taylor news broke I think this thread got hammered by people wanting to see the cap implications. Schneed10 03-03-2009, 09:30 AM Definitely a good job! Yeah, I actually tried to make the edit for CC's adjustment to the Skins cap limit, I hit submit, and it went boom. Must have been the traffic plus my edit all at once. 53Fan 03-03-2009, 11:17 AM Definitely a good job! I think this thread is part of the reason we got knocked offline briefly last night. Once the Taylor news broke I think this thread got hammered by people wanting to see the cap implications. I was wondering what happened. Schneed10, CrazyCanuck, SmootSmack, all you guys have done a great job keeping us well informed with what's going on. Part of the reason THE WARPATH is so great. You've put together something really good here Matty. GridIron26 03-03-2009, 02:55 PM I was wondering what happened. I (and I'm pretty sure I can speak for most of people at here) would be totally lost and stuck in dark for whole time until signing occurs if it weren't for u guys.. Thanks guys! BigHairedAristocrat 03-03-2009, 03:33 PM Over 13M in cap space AFTER signing Haynesworth? Thats simply amazing. Thats enough we could actually afford to take the cap hit if we wanted to cut or trade some players. los panda 03-03-2009, 04:36 PM unless they have big plans, i don't understand why they cut jason taylor as well. MTK 03-03-2009, 04:41 PM unless they have big plans, i don't understand why they cut jason taylor as well. There are still some holes to fill, mainly at LB, RT, and possibly a punter. BigHairedAristocrat 03-03-2009, 04:42 PM welcome panda. Taylor didnt want to work out with the team and this team is now rid of two guys who always felt they were too good to work out and practice with their team in the offseason. We could have something big in the works (like a trade for a big name player), but I think if we did, we would have heard some rumblings by now. I'm personally hoping we wanted to get rid of someone who wasnt worth their keep. Now, weve got plenty of room to make several acquisitions to improve the quality of the depth on our team and maybe even pickup a starting DE or LB. |
