What a stunning movie. It's kind of the anti-Rocky, flirting with seemingly every sports-movie cliche before turning them on their head. This film could have been schmaltzy and uninspiring if handled by a less skilled director, but Darren Aronofsky is masterful with the material. And Mickey Rourke's performance is Oscar-worthy.

Seriously, I can't recommend this movie more highly.

I'm definitely hyped for this one... probably gonna peep it this week (took off an extra week of work... yeahhhhh!)

I've always been an enormous, almost obsessive, Darren Aranofsky fan.

Loved Pi, Requim for a dream was a little intense... but still a great movie, and I thought that, "The Fountain" was absolutely brilliant. Clint Mansell is a great composer, so you know the music to this flick will be great.

Really excited about this one... haven't heard a bad thing about it.

Oh hell yeah, horror bud! The chick from Cloverfield is in it... the trailer looks super good for this one. I'm scared they put everything in it and it may suck... let's hope this one pulls through.
