Ruhskins 02-27-2009, 11:42 PM Eagles apparently just traded Lito Sheppard to the Jets (who re-signed Brandon Moore) for a couple of draft picks.
And I think I heard the Giants signed Boley, or are about to
I just saw Boley's info on Scouts, I know we shouldn't focus on the defense now that we got freaking AH and Hall, but he could've been a good pick up. Any word on whether we'll get Ray Willis from Seattle?
That Guy 02-28-2009, 12:42 AM crowell would still be a good sleeper, or willis at RT.
we'll have to compare foxworth to hall this year too, cause if i had to choose, foxworth at 14mill SB 26mill or whatever it was seems like a much better deal.
Redskin Warrior 02-28-2009, 10:53 AM What do y'all think about Cato June?

He's on the light side like Boley and is a DC native.
GMScud 02-28-2009, 11:18 AM According to the poll, the FO has now made 73% of us seriously happy. That is pretty d*** amazing. My :twocents: Our FO, Dan and Vinny, deserve a nod as the most creative, and exciting FO in the league. I am not saying that they are perfect, but absolutely they try to bring players here who make our team better. Maybe it works, maybe not. But would you really have a FO like Detroit, Philly, Dallas, or Tampa Bay???
:food-smil to all the FO personnel, wherever you are.:food-smil
Philly does a solid job personnel-wise. They do a good job in the draft for the most part and understand the importance of the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. I can't stand the Eagles or their fans, but there's no question they have fielded a playoff caliber team for about a decade.

That is true, but they have rarely gone for that one special guy, or the spark factor. (except for TO, but maybe that is why they don't). I really was praising our FO for making the all-out effort and diligence to get what the team seems to need. Philly's does field good teams, but I give alot of that credit to Reid for using what he is given to its best potential.
Having said that they did get Samuels last year, and TO, so maybe I just don't like Philly.

I agree. With all the bashing the FO gets, I think they've done an amazing job thusfar.
GMScud 02-28-2009, 11:42 AM Funny, Yahoo.com has us as a Day 1 Loser as far as FA's go. Not to mention they also throw us under the bus for the whole layoffs thing. Plenty of teams have been laying off employees, and all of those teams are operating under the same salary cap that we are, yet we're taking the most heat for it.
