No, youre an idiot. Brown is going to command top dollar and youre suggesting that this would be a good deal. clearly you're someone that lives in a fantasy world and that's where you should remain. keep dreaming, ruh skins, especially for someone who doesnt even watch all of the redskins games. you're a moron.

Also, where does this notion of signing Canty come in? He's a 3-4 defensive end and nowhere would it suggest that he would fit in our 4-3 scheme. you're a dumbass.

I guess Scouts Inc. are a bunch of dumbasses too?

Comment: Canty has great size and natural strength to hold the point versus the run or push the pocket rushing the passer. He is long-limbed, which enables him to lock out and shed effectively. He has improved his hand use to separate to ball carriers and has become a more active defender in his third season. He is an instinctive player reacting well as plays unfold. He feels pad pressure well and constrains running lanes by pressing back into blockers. Canty had his best season of his pro career and has improved his pass rush package, but needs to continue to expand his initial moves and counters. He is a good football player who plays with a great motor and should continue to get better as his career progresses. His outstanding size makes him a fit in both a 3-4 or 4-3 defensive schemes and his versatility gives him added value. Canty will be a high-value free agent and likely re-signed by the Cowboys.

Damn, have you been over my house? Thanks for the insults by the way.

Anyway, I personally think is a good idea to spend top dollar in the area that really killed us last year, or so I hear since you obviously know that I didn't watch all the games. I mean the team was getting ready to spend top dollar on a defensive lineman, but I just had this crazy thought that they may want to spend that on the o-line, since I hear rumors that JC spent a lot of time on his back with some d-lineman on top of him. But hey, I'm a moron, no?

Well I've seen some media outlets that there's an interest in Canty, and well I'm sure he can adjust to to the 4-3, otherwise the team wouldn't be interested in him. But once again, there goes moron me talking crap.

Football is a business, if Canty comes here, he's going to get paid to go after his old teammates, and I doubt he's going to have any second thoughts about flattening Romo.

Look I'll put it this way... I think most of the other FA signings being discussed will do more for us than Canty will anyway. As we've all said a million times the o-line needs major upgrading. Dock, Brown and probably this kid Willis (if even for depth) will help the offense more than Canty will help the defense. Even on defense i still think, in part because of our system and in part because I think as fans we tend to underrate some of our own players, a huge upgrade at SLB will make us better than adding Canty to the d-line will. Last but not least I think Hall will make a bigger impact than Canty... it's not like he's a sack machine either. I believe Evans, Carter and even the injured Jason Taylor each got more sacks than Canty did last year. Canty is a younger version of Daniels except he's likely to demand really big money.

Canty has been a defensive end in the 3-4 attack that the Cowboys employ.

The Washington Post reported on Thursday that the ‘Skins are interested, explaining that he would play defensive end on first and second downs, and move inside in obvious passing situations

Matty, don't you know that the morons at Scouts Inc don't watch all of the Redskins games...well I guess in this case it'd be the Cowboy games. But they don't apparently. LOL. :smashfrea

On a serious note, I'm getting more and more sold on Canty. I think I heard SmootSmack or someone else mention that he'd be used as a DT, any thoughts about this?

little hostile.

and canty would be filling in for daniels - being the heavy for carter opposite him and taylor behind him (assuming taylor stays).

honestly, a great way to learn if a player is a good signing is to go to fansites or their current teams and see what they say. remember when the bills fans came here for info on dock, and we said he was vastly overpaid and a below average starting guard? then they watch him underperform there and toss him after 2 years.

canty's good, he'd help us.

Damn fella's. Calm down. We're all looking for the same thing. Just different ideas on how to get there. Must I ALWAYS be the calm voice of reason? :)

Exactly. Any notion that he would fit in a 4-3 scheme is pure speculation. I could care less what "scouts inc." has to say. Also note how it says he should be resinged by the Cowboys.
