I mean he's probably an upgrade over Rabach but we shouldn't get into a bidding war for him. We have bigger needs. If this is true it shows our FO is just throwing money away for fun. Brown would be a very smart pick-up for us. See post # 344. He shouldn't break the bank. There's a fairly good market for Centers this year. Pat Kirwan at NFL.com has Brown rated as the # 7 FA overall. Pro Football Weekly has him rated at # 11. 53Fan 02-26-2009, 07:47 PM Guess I'll be talkin to ya till 2AM. 53:sleep: I have the flu but I don't have anything scheduled for tomorrow. I doubt I can sleep until I know what's going on with free agency anyhow. Whatever we do, I think we''ll be better off than last year and will upgrade some positions of need. skinsfan_nn 02-26-2009, 07:47 PM Top 50 FA list. Evans makes the list for whatever thats worth.... Haynesworth in DC before 12:05am....? What are the odds...? 50/50...or better? The top 50 players in free agency (http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80ef3b80&template=without-video-with-comments&confirm=true&icampaign=DW_free_agency_thursday) 44ever 02-26-2009, 07:48 PM I have the flu but I don't have anything scheduled for tomorrow. Well he could play Guard SmootSmack 02-26-2009, 07:51 PM Not for a guy whose 25 and can play Center and Gaurd. He will command alot of money. With that age and the ability to play guard, he probably will command a good paycheck. But he should be relatively worth it 53Fan 02-26-2009, 07:55 PM With that age and the ability to play guard, he probably will command a good paycheck. But he should be relatively worth it I understand this completely. I really do, but would'nt drafting Alex Mack accomplish the same thing for a lot less money? redskinsfan1974 02-26-2009, 07:58 PM I think we should go after Tank Johnson and not Haynesworth. Save some cap room. That way, we can fill other needs. Also, espn is reporting that Pats after DeAngelo Hall? |
