Are Igor OLchansky and Chris Canty UFA's? If so, we should sign both of these guys.
Both are 3-4 DEs not a good fit for our system. Their price tags will likely be driven up by the three (I believe) additional teams moving to the 3-4.

I still would go after Canty, did he play on a 3-4 in Virginia? Shit maybe he can be better on a 4-3.

Maybe we should start the transition to the 3-4 D It seems like all the big names are coming from or wanting to go in that direction. I wonder how this will affect or limit future FA aquisitions since more and more teams are going 3-4.

I am thinking Jason Brown from Baltimore may be a very smart target in FA for us. He's a big C at 320lb, can play G and was the anchor of a very good Baltimore line, he's only 26. He's a huge improvement over Rabach at C, definitely fills an immediate need, and could solidify the position for 4-5 years. Baltimore has already franchised Suggs so there is a good chance Brown will hit the market. This also would allow us to concentrate of OT, DT/DE, and LB in the draft.

As long as Blache is DC, we won't be moving to a 4-3.

I agree with Jason Brown. Unless we take the guy I'm hoping we get, Alex Mack, Brown could help us tremendously for a long time.
