K Warner will be back in 09' and beyond
Warner to return in 2009 - NFL - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=txcardinalswarner&prov=st&type=lgns)

The question is will he re-sign with Arizona or go elsewhere? IMO the Cardinals would be foolish to let him walk. If they can afford it, they should give him 2yrs $20M.

Or we should. j/k:) I think they (AZ) would break the bank for him.

Sucks for them, but you're not saying we should get him right?

No I was just adding it to the free agent thread. I believe in getting younger through the draft, and developing players. Marvin Harrison is a Pro-bowl WR but he is on the decline at 36.

Definatly no to Harrison.

Warner reportedly is asking for 12-14M/yr. and Arizona is offering 8-10 according to John Clayton. A little bit of a discrepancy. Also the Rams could part ways with Orlando Pace.

How about Michael Boley, Falcons OLB 26 years old. Had a crappy 08 season but has been pretty solid 06 and 07 In 2007, Boley finished one behind Keith Brooking for the team lead in tackles. He took down a career-high 109 ballcarriers after making 85 tackles the season prior. He had three sacks in ’06 and three in '07

"There is a sense from close observers of the team that Boley didn’t completely buy into Smith’s program. Boley could try to find a team that’s willing to utilize him in a way he’s more comfortable".

I think this guy is young enough and has the talent to rebound. We might be able to pick him up for as little as 3-4M a year. Since the Falcons are using him as a split and have benched him this past season.

We should at least check Boley out. The only bad year he's had was last year and that was after a coaching change and some personal problems. We should give him a look.

I like Boley, don't get me wrong, but I think he's on the light side at 223lb. Jacobs would run him over, we need beefy LB's.

Are Igor OLchansky and Chris Canty UFA's? If so, we should sign both of these guys.

I know Canty is. Not sure about the other guy.
