Gibbs loves to use the "possession receiver" (see Art Monk) and Gardner fits the mold perfectly.
wouldn't he need to... umm... possess the ball then? he's kinda got a history of the drops.

Well put, Canuck. Man, wasn't it incredible to see Gibbs out there again? Goose bump city!
And I expect we'll see more of Gibbs flash on offense as everyone gets more comfortable.

Ya got that right. Gardner is like what Joey T. described last night, the little girl with the curl, she'll break your heart, but then she smiles and start's looking real good.

Agreed. That's why I said "I think Gardner can have a huge year if he holds onto the ball."
I realize that "Gardner holding the ball" is a big if.

Ya, seeing Gibbs back out there is the real highlight. Everything else is just gravy.

Apparently the key to completing a pass to Gardner is to throw it out of his reach, make him leap or dive for a catch he'll get it but throw it at his chest and he might as well have his back to you.

He makes the hard ones look easy, and the easy ones look hard. Maybe you're right, Smoot. Throw it near but not at him...
