Samuels, Rinehart, Mack, Thomas and Heyer as starters, Rabach can play G as a backup or switch him with Thomas. If Mack is there I would go get him.

I would rather have OLB Aaron Curry Wake Forest if he's still available by the time we pick (highly unlikely).

Guy is a beast but I think he's a top 5 pick. I would absolutely give up a first and 3rd for him now though. Maybe he'll have a crappy combine and fall to 17 or 18 (where I think we'll be picking). Maybe Al Davis will want ARE, Kelly, Thomas, and Springs for their #1 so we could grabbed him.

Alex Mack C out Cal Berkeley. He would change our OL overnight.

That's the guy Ive been touting since (SMOOT or Malcolm, can't remember which) brought him up. I think he could start at center or guard right away.

Vilma is a MLB, we already have a pretty damn good MLB in London Fletcher.

i'm aware. fletch wont play forever. put volma at strong side until fletch hangs it up. HB is not a first-string LB in this league.

After today I'm not sure HB is a decent backup either.

If Mack is there I would go get him.While we might find somebody better than Kendall if we wait to hit the market, we should probably work to resign him for two years or so before he hits the market. If we're going to target Alex Mack, I hope we trade down out of the first to do so. Middle of the first, he's probably overvalued. We could use our se.....well at least Jason Taylor is under contract next year!

Rinehart and Heyer have to earn their starting roles. We can't just give them roles. I would make a play for a center in free agency, and leave the rest of the line be after releaseing Rabach. I would then make a concerted effort to put a lot of responsibility on our young guys in the offseason, and see who can handle it and earn their way into the starting lineup.

I've watched all the Cal games and by buddy who goes to all the games and meets with players says, this is a can't miss sure future HOF caliber player, plus he's is an academic All-American (smart)
