Williams' blitzing scheme heavy defenses were never a good fit for Jacksonville. Hope he does well in his next town.

Williams is a great coach in my opinion, but I don't think we'd be any better off if he was the HC and Blache was the DC. I think we'd be prone to the same sort of mistakes the offense has made in the last three weeks with them as we would be with Zorn/Blache.

Williams to Blache has been a significant downgrade.

You think so? It seems to me that our defense has played at a level consistent with the last several seasons, playing the familiar role of keeping us in games while our offense sputters. While the complexity of the schemes has certainly been scaled back I don't necessarily think that has always been a bad thing.

He's predictable, they can't change out of his piss poor calls, and he's particually ineffective on third downs when we need to get off the field. I like him as a line coach, but he's got to go as our coordinator.

Springs came back, and benched Rogers so he could play his boys, Hall and Mike Green. Then, with our three best CBs healthy, he's got Smoot covering Houshmanzadeh and Hall on Chad Johnson.

When our defense plays this poorly against the Bengals offense, I don't think we can defend him coming back. I don't think the unit as a whole is poorly coached, but every offensive coordinator we face outcoaches Blache, which was never an issue with Williams.

Other coaches have made mistakes, but Blache is the only one I feel we can't win with in the future.

They've had a rough year all around in Jax, I wonder if Del Rio could be next.

You haven't been noticing my custom user title these last few days?

GW is a very good coach. He obviously demand alot of his players. We know that. Getting in to a new situation, he might have ruffled some feathers.

I'd welcome him back at any time. Blache has done a good job though.

ESPN - Sources: Jacksonville Jaguars' defensive boss Greg Williams won't be back (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3768691&campaign=rss&source=ESPNHeadlines)

Apparently the 2nd 'G' is for GONE!

i will take him back over blache or zorn any day of the week. i hate our coaching staff without him.

can we ever make a right decision

Del Rio changes coordinators like he changes underwear.

Or is it leather jackets?

Del Rio's days are numbered in Jville.
