So long to Antonio Daniels and Dee Brown. I'm excited about getting Crittenton (http://www.thewarpath.net/503785-post9.html). James is kind of a wash
ESPN - Washington Wizards get two guards in 3-team trade (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3759656)
The Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Hornets have agreed to a three-team trade that will bring two new guards to the Gilbert Arenas-less Wizards.
The Wizards will receive New Orleans' Mike James and Memphis' Javaris Crittenton in the exchange, with the Hornets acquiring Washington's Antonio Daniels and the Grizzlies coming away with a future first-round pick. New Orleans also received a conditional second-round pick from Memphis.

I like the trade simply because Crittenton is a true PG and Mike James is a 3-pt shooting threat. It sucks that Daniels had to go (personally, I wish it was Stevenson), but I think in the end, the Wizards got what they desperately needed.....a true PG.
Hopefully Crittenton will catch on quickly and start getting some much needed playing time.

We gave up a first for these guys? I liked what I saw of Dee Brown. Are these guys any better than him? I don't know about this move, but this is the same GM that swindled the Lakers in the Kwame for Caron trade.

We basically just gave the Grizzlies back the first that we had gotten from them for JC Navarro.
Crittenton, in my opinion, is much better than Brown. James is a decent veteran whose contract comes off the books I believe at the end of this season.

I think Jamison will be traded by February as well

Any change is welcome right now. The Wizards as currently made up do not play hard or like they want to win. It was interesting to learn that Crittendon beat the "A" team with a last minute 3-pointer during yesterday's scrimmage.

They need to rebuild this team with some defense and more depth. Even when they were playing well they didn't go very deep. Then they let go of some of their best bench assets and down the drain they go. Thye have a lot of work to do now.

I'd like to see the Wizards trade Jamison, too, even though he's a solid player and a first class person. But he doesn't play good defense and we might be better off with someone else. But we shouldn't give him away. We can't afford to, and we need to get somebody good in return...another Kwame - Butler trade...But we can't be that lucky again.

What makes you think that SS? Do you have some inside sources? I thought he was supposed to be the "glue" of the team?
I'm not doubting you or questioning your theory. I just wanna know why you think that.
