1. Cut Springs and possibly smoot (would prefer to keep one of them for rainy day), 1-2 OL, one of our defensive ends, and Marcus Washington (if we find him a replacement)

2. Make at least one big sign from the free agent crop, we could use any d-lineman, o-lineman, and even a solid OLB (peppers, suggs, haynesworth, jordan groos, stacey andrews, jahri evans, bart scott, michael boley, leroy hill) snagging one of these guys gives us an immediate starter, and one less immediate need to assess in the draft

3. Draft needs in order
a. O-line, with all the talented Tackles or Guards in this years draft we should be able to grab a starter with a mid round pick, I hate to say this but samuels, thomas, jansen are all getting too old
b. If we dont get a defensive lineman in free agency (which we wont thanks to the amazing addition of jason taylor 123156 years old, we could have had the space to add peppers or suggs, wow we messed that one up), we need to target a fluid pass rusher. its agonizing to watch our d-line try (yes only try) to get to the quarterback. We could target guys like selvie, orakpo, and michael johnson
c. IF we address our needs at OL and DL we need a replacement for Washington right away, hes lost his step and with london (hall of fame me?) aging we could add a guy like cushing, laurinitis, of curry to eventually take the reigns. I lie laurinitis becasue he has the skills to play OLB until london retires then we can move him back inside

4. we need to let our young talent develop, I know we all got our hopes up after our awesome start but we need to realize our team will only get worse with our aging starters if we dont give our young talent a chance to develop. We need rinehart, thomas, and kelly to grow in the offseason, I WANT RANDLE EL back in the slot next season where he is the biggest threat

Blowing the roster up isn't going to help anything. There needs to be some changes to key positions, but wholesale changes aren't going to happen for many reasons.

For now- QB, TE and RB are set. Actually TE and RB have enough talent to shed some, but Yoder isn't good enough to attract attention, and Davis hasn't done anything meaning the only one who would provide value is Cooley who should be untouchable.

OL- We'll need a new LG. Kendall's a free agent even if he doesn't retire. A new tackle. Reinhart could be one of those guys. We'll need to either draft or sign the other and look for a back up or two. Fabini should be gone. Samuels or Jansen may be

WR- I'm not giving up on Thomas or Kelly, but I have on Randle El. Since I don't expect either of the current rookies to be better than a third reciever next year we either need a number 2 reciever(it seems there's nothing in the league harder to acquire) or someone good enough to force Moss to that roll.

DL- We've got plenty of depth. We need one player who will make the others around him better. Don't know whether it should be inside or outside. We should probably resign Evans.

LB- I like HB Blades. If he's a starter we need two backups. If he stays a backup we need a starter. Of course if Washington decides to take a paycut and a backup job, lesser playing time may make it possible he'd play more. Several of our DE's also played LB so that may help take care of that.

DB- The one place we have a glut. I'm even willing to lose some talent here. Of course if Hall leaves then that takes care of that. But if he resigns either Smoot or Springs could be traded.

I think I'd draft as many linemen in the draft as possible. If I thought the only linemen at my spot were a reach I'd trade down.

1. Cut Springs, Washington, Griffin, Daniels, Fabini, and Jansen. Sign everyone else.
2. Get Dre Moore of Tampa's practice squad.
3. Sign Jordan Gross and Karlos Dansby(Linbacker). Gross can play left tackle and Samuels can move to right. That gives us two awsome left tackles and Heyer backing them up.
4. Draft a stud tackle or trade first pick for one. Use the rest of the picks for Oline and a linebacker.
5. Hire Cowher.

You some things right except for 2.

Dre Moore is in a practice squad for a reason, not good enough. Cowher is not the answer, replacing Vinny in the FO is the answer.

I really think the point of the practice squad is that they're supposed to be good enough eventually.

1. Re sign Hall. He will be the leader of the secondary. I would sign Hall (for the right price) before I sign Rogers
2. Release M. Washington: I think we all know why
3. Sign at least two big name free agents (preferreably on each line). Synder has surprisingly gotten away from the big splash the last few offeasons.
4. Draft an OLB in the first round. (Rey Malauga USC)
5. I agree with you D-Bag359 we need to look for a quality back in the 3rd round to get Portis and Betts some air.

I am with youm, bring Hall back he has been a nice addition esp late in the season.
Time to let Marcus go. I love the guy but his injuries are hurting this team.
Get an OLB to infuse some youth into the line. We are aging and aging fast!

I know he may not be that good, but he was highly rated as a tackle and he is 6-4 310 pounds and one the fastest forty's in the combine for tackles. He was a fourth round draft choice, it kind of makes up for not having one.

We already have Golston, Montgomery and Alexander. What we need is a stud replacement for Griffin not another comparable player. The players that really need to be replaced are Griffin, Springs, Washington, Jansen, Smoot. They are always hurt and are a liability, it makes us shorthanded especially, when they are starters except for Smoot.

Most years we keep five tackles, he would not have to make the team, if he sucks. I just think that Tampa has alot of talent at that position and could not make room for him. Maybe he beats one of those guys out.

Oh another thing that needs to be done, getting rid of Larry Michael. Honestly we don't need another mouthpiece. And even though I don't always agree with him we need more guys like Riggins that aren't on a leash with Snyder on the other end.
