What I've always found interesting about Jurgensen is that his dominance with the Redskins was a time when the Redskins were rather mediocre. Through little fault of his own I'm sure. Just always found that interesting.

Theisman was probably the most dominant long term QB in the modern era. However remember when the Rams set their record for most points scored in a season they were replacing the 1991 Redskins who were headed by Mark Rypien.

That's wrong. The record the Rams broke was the record the Redskins set in the 1983 regular season, when the Redskins scored 541 points. The Redskins 1991 team scored 485.

Oh, and the guy who led the Redskins during the record-setting 1983 season? That would be the 1983 regular season MVP Joe Theismann.
