Redskins vs. Ravens game day thread

Exactly. We need new draft picks their and some modest FA players on the OL.

We'll probably try to sign one or two FA players for the WR group.

However, I am increasingly concerned that whatever JC has on the offense he'll never be good enough to carry this team to the elite level.

So far JC is an average to good QB, nothing to write home about. With regards to offseason acquisitions I am not sure about FA WRs. EVery one we have signed, with the exception of Moss, has sucked. Modestly priced, young FA O line men is a nice way to go, along with drafting some.

Shoot Cincy can beat us, not likely, but they are capable. You might need to think about changing your JC franchise QB tag on your ID box if things start to really go downhill.Don't worry about me. I know what's going on.

Sorry to come across as terse, and I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I don't have an agenda.

This is the stuff that makes me wonder why so many folks don't want to heap any blame on JC. Sure we have glaring inadequacies on both sides of the ball, but JC is also messing up. I don't think JC is progressing any. I don't think he is necessarily regressing, but he hasn't gotten significantly better since he was named the starter. Switching QB's at this point will not help, but if say we don't win another game this season, I think it would be reasonable for some folks to think about it if this crap keeps happening next season.

JC's QB rating has been sinking the last month - just like it did the same time last year [before he was hurt]. Undoubtably it's partly due to the
OL and Wr drops. however, a QB makes the pass rush miss, dumps the ball, picks up the blitz and makes points on his own talent. Jason has been in the middle 70 on his QB rating for 3 seasons and is going back their now.

Some ppl want Jason Campbell to have a 'couple more years'. Unfortunately, no QB, on any team, gets that kind of time to develop. You either win games or you get replaced. After close to 40 games as the starter his clock is running out.

Does anyone else notice that we tend to give up TDS on the opposing teams opening drive, instantly putting us down 7-0. It seems to happen alot then just when you think we are going to get back into it we give up an 80 yard 6 minute TD drive to ice it. Not blaming the D for the loss just making an observation

.... Anybody but JC PLEASE
Agreed...we need to hurry up and trade his ass before he depreciates any more and we can only get a (Ramsey deal) 7th rounder for him. Seriously this needs to happen THIS off-season before the rest of the league sees how shitty he is;if not already...I mean he has stunk it up in all 3 of his national games this year, so I guess the secret is already out.....Campbell=Ramsey=Wuerffel=Frerotte=All the rest of the losers that have QB'd in DC...We need that franchise guy and Campbell is not him

[QUOTE=Ruhskins;509045]Well we're not mathematically eliminated and since we're playing SO well we still can make it. :blah:

The way this team is playing with the injuries on our defense and OL, we could easily lost all of our games the rest of the way. Cincy is a bad team, but we are terrible against bad teams. Philly is playing well and they always find ways to win in DC, and SF is re-energized due to Mike Singlarty role as head coach. They did beat a playoff bound jets team earlier today. This is a lost season guys, and everyone here knows it. When this team went to 6-2, everybody was thinking playoffs, now we have went back down to earth and reality of this team.

Yeah but good QBs (Manning, Brady, Eli, etc., etc.) have good lines for protection. Name me a good QB with a bad offensive line? Heck, even Flacco had pretty good protection tonite and he's not a very good QB.

Who gives a shit about passer rating???? We simply don't have the horses on offense. The line can't pass block, the play calling is so so and we have no play makers at wr. How do you expect ANY qb to do well in this offense.
