How long do you think Ramsey will take to being a back-up? With so many teams struggling to find a QB, and in this day and age, where players and agents tell management what to do, will he stick around until Brunell leaves, or should the Skins try and get something for him from another team?

Good question. I think Ramsey is the opening day starter in 2006. He'll play some this year and more next year. But I think Brunell is the official starter for two more seasons.
If no one's done it yet, let me be the first to welcome you to the warpath im4skins. been a redskins fan since "the day before yesterday" eh?

I think Ramsey needs one year, to learn how to be an NFL quaterback. He'll be the starter next year.

It depends on how we do, if we have a winning team this year then he will want to stay and be a part of it for when his chance to lead comes. If we suck again he will want out.

i'd hope he'd be ready to start next year, with brunell as a deep insurance policy...

yeah, that's why you shouldn't go 1 stop shopping... he was the best available in term of character and talent i believe... but it was a reall heavy contract. he'll be what? 41 by the time the contract expires... maybe he'll be tradeable if its a good year, but with the price tag, it'd have to be a REALLY GOOD YEAR.

Ramsey will finish his career a 'Skin. Have faith. Brunell sits for good after he goes down in week 8 this year with a season ending injury.
