Your all puppets
Portis, Fletch, Moss The Rest no heartSeanTaGodsSafety 12-02-2008, 02:50 PM Your all puppets CRedskinsRule 12-02-2008, 02:56 PM I'm not a puppet, but I do like puppies. Hey, my post makes as much sense as yours did. and I only said it once. SmootSmack 12-02-2008, 03:03 PM Your all puppets ???? 53Fan 12-02-2008, 05:04 PM I like Howdy Doody. :woot: A10sROCK 12-02-2008, 05:14 PM I like teams that play with emotion and heart. However, the best teams just get it done and win. Gibbs I had great teams that just beat you down. They were not an emotional team. The Patriots under Bellicheat are not an emotional team. We are a good team, not an elite one. That's why we can't beat the best teams. The Giants just have A LOT more talent and a very good coach. We are probably a year or two from moving up. However, everyone knows that this season was tied to Jason Campbell's improvement. Our offense just is not that good. Until it gets better we are going to struggle. Hey, a lot of towns would be thankful for a 9-7 season (my prediction). 53Fan 12-02-2008, 07:57 PM heart, motivation, concentration, focus whatever you want to call it does have meaning in football; it was motivation that brought carlos in this offseason to actually start studying film FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS CAREER and the results have shown and he has attributed alot of his success to that dedication to the film study . . .it was heart (and monetary incentive) for portis to be in the redskins facilities this offseason working out and the players noticed portis working his butt off and it gave them motivation to do the same . . it is heart that djnemo is so quick to say doesnt exist then post a wilbon article talking about how portis plays with heart . . . some people on this board are so quick to discount or laugh at anyone who thinks or wants to talk about something other than 40 times or specific plays . . . there are certain intangibles in this league that seperate a great player from a good player and great teams from good teams and lil bit of that involves the "heart" . . .but yeah anyone who thinks other than you is an idiot and clearly doesnt know football like you guys . . .give me a break I agree with everything you said Mountain. I just don't think it applies to this team. I saw guys playing their ass off and don't believe for one minute we lost the game because of a lack of heart. But I do agree with you. I think Fletch for one plays with a lot of heart. I have seen teams pretty much give up and you can SEE they're not playing with heart. But I don't see that in OUR team and I think that's what's offensive about this thread. |
