I was all for drafting richard marshall and josh wilson... even insistent on it (not that our DBs suck now, but those two would be cheaper than smoot and healthier than springs).

good news is washington, griffin, taylor, springs, maybe even smoot can all be replaced cheaply this offseason since they seemed to have lost it (its the joe montana syndrome... they can still play well, but the amount of time they're healthy enough to get on the field is just shrinking to zero fast).

anyways, it's good news, cause that's a LOT of money to work with, some of which will probably be going to campbell and hall.

Taylor got manhandled yesterday; i saw him get thrown around like a rag doll a couple times. I is going to be a serious liability on the field against one of the best O-lines in the G-men

I'm sick and tired of defending Suisham...shanked mid 40s kicks two weeks in a row, and the kickoffs are getting dangerously short again.

You begin to wonder what people say to each other...or, what did Josh Wilson say to Santana Moss to rile him up like that. While it's easy to criticize, Wilson must have said something pretty shitty...

Mike Sellars - fans have been calling your name all year, wanting you to get more involved. One way to not get more involved is to drop a sure 1st down inside the opponent's 5.

That would have been 6.

Yea I can name at least 5 plays where Fletch had a chance at Morris but over pursued and he ran right by him. But he is still our backbone on D and he will bounce back.

Sellars really had a very good game..would have been a great game if not for the drop. He was flat out, leveling people out there.

It was nice to see Kelly out there. Gotta keep the D's honest w/ Moss on the other side.

Is it just me or does Andre Carter look really slow out there? I really don't understand why we're paying him so much money. He's a good guy, and a very hard worker, but talent wise, mediocre at best.

Our secondary is pretty good.

Sellars had a good game. Was really making some nice powerful blocks. But his drop was unacceptable. Those kind of drops are one of the reasons our offense is unable to get it done in the red zone. Those mistakes against the Giants and we are in for a real long day.
On the bright side.....I was pleased to see Campbell fairly mobile and pick up some yards when he had the opportunity. And as far as Moss's left hand Jab goes....REALLY lucky his ass did not get tossed outta the game!

Sellers' drop was very disappointing, he's got to catch that. It's also very indicative of how things have gone this year. It just seems like there's always a play or two each game that prevents us from opening up a nice lead.

I noticed on Betts runs when he hits the whole and is fighting for more yards he tends to turn his back to try and make a push. This leaves him open to getting hit as he is now more up right pushing backwards with his legs. He did this twice yesterday and is probably the reason he fumbled the ball. He needs to lower his head and drive the pile instead of trying to push the pile. If you don't understand what I'm talking about think of a person pushing a car with their butt against the car.

My guess is his knee still isn't 100% so he's not comfortable driving forward on it after contact.
