In the spirt of bumping old threads:

Pretty cool on Seattle's part. Hopefully if Danny builds a stadium in DC he will try to copy some of the design of Qwest. Although at the end of the day the fans are gonna have to do their part.

Also as someone pointed out:

Do they still pipe crowd noise in over the speakers? :D

that article gave excellent points,RFK seemed to have a huge home field advantage, fed ex rarely seems as loud as rfk did.
I wish for 1 game something happened to fed ex and the team had to play at rfk again and todays players saw what it was like, preferably a playoff game, that would be so great, the stadium would be rocking!
Is there any player currently on the skins that played at rfk?

As best i can remember, the last player for the skins who played for them in both stadiums (FedEx, RFK) was Darrell Green. There isnt any player on the team right now that played at RFK. Ray Brown (OL), also played in both stadiums as a player when he was here in 2005.

this is a little off topic but what do you think of the idea of having a "Winter classic" hockey game at Fed Ex ?

Man I would love that. I think if the Winter Classic ever does come to DC, it would probably go to Nats Park just because it's more modern, but I wouldn't care where it was as long as it came to DC.
