What's up with Landry's play? He's always a few steps late now with poor angles.

Did We Even Touch Romo? For That Matter Did We Even Touch Barber Before He Made A First Down? Im Still Holding On To Hope. Both Lines Look Like Sorry Ass Chumps!! Yes. We are starting to see breakdowns on both lines -- Cornelius Griffin and Kedric Golston were eaten alive tonight. Not good for a team that has playoffs on its mind. To be fair though, this team hasn't had a good pass rush since Bruce Smith. Ruhskins 11-16-2008, 11:20 PM I think everyone needs to chill out. The bottom line is the guys are playing hard, we just don't have the horses on offense. Yes we don't sack the qb but this one is on the offense. The guys we drafted have given us not a damn thing. So far all three of them are busts IMO. I don't see anything changing. We're 10 games in and I think everyone can see what type of team we are. Average. I think we're going to hear this a lot for the rest of the season. LOL. horse 11-16-2008, 11:20 PM Think of it though last year we're 5-7 before we made our playoff push we just gotta get some momentum. We have 4 or 5 games left where will be favored and as far as the wildcard no one is running away. wilsowilso 11-16-2008, 11:21 PM Look at the offensive and defensive lines of the Titans, Giants and Patriots. Chris Samuels might be the only player on our team that plays offensive or defensive line that would actually be a starter on any of those three units. Randy Thomas has really really dropped off. Rabach and Jansen are just bad. Griffin and Kendall are old. Andre Carter is mediocre, Golston and Motgomery are just ok and Jason Taylor is hurt and or washed up. It's a pretty sad state of affairs. JWsleep 11-16-2008, 11:21 PM I prefer to lurk but I had to throw my 2c in tonight. Everyone always complained about Gibbs 2.0 lack of offense, lack of points, etc. I'm not seeing much difference between this team and the Gibbs team of last year. The only difference is a new head coach scratching his head and wondering why we can't run block half the time and why we can never protect Campbell. Plain and simple, the offensive line is OLD and DECREPIT and needs to be reconstructed with younger fresher legs and bodies. Oh and Casey Rabach needs to be traded for draft picks. As a free agent signing this guy has been an extreme disappointment in my book. Agreed about the o-line. It's really too bad. BUt look: here's my feelings. We've found out that JC can play, IMO. We need to get this system down and the right people in place. Jansen is done. Rabach isn't good enough. Samuels is good, but hurt and old. Kendall was a stopgap as it is. And THomas hasn't reemerged as a force. In any event, we've got winnable games at Seattle, SF, and Cincy. Then we've got the ravens, iggles, and gints. Win the three winnable road games and pick up ONE more win, and that's 10. May not get us in, but it's not a crazy stretch. The season is far from over, folks. Beemnseven 11-16-2008, 11:21 PM What's up with Landry's play? He's always a few steps late now with poor angles. Yeah, he was WAY late on the TD to the tight end. In the fourth quarter the D couldn't do anything right. GTripp0012 11-16-2008, 11:21 PM Campbell and our recievers were playing great earlier, but in both of the last two games, they haven't produced in the way we need them to against either Pittsburgh or Dallas. And the pass protection is totally abysmal. It's getting to the point where if you load up the box and take away the run against the Redskins, there's simply no time to get Moss behind the defense. Look, either Zorn's serious about fixing this protection and we can get to 11 or 12 wins, or he's not serious about it, we limp to 10 wins and we're at the mercy of the tiebreaker system. This team does A LOT of things very well, but a few things it absolutely can't do are killing the offense. Don't forget that Randle El's injury came at the worst possible time. Devin Thomas isn't an NFL receiver, James Thrash is very close to not being an NFL receiver, and there's just nothing behind them. We're a very talented team with major flaws. The flaws can absolutely be corrected, but I no longer think the offensive issues will correct themselves. We need to remove the players who just can't play at this level (Casey Rabach, Randy Thomas, Devin Thomas) from the offensive gameplan. Only then can the Redskins allow Portis, Campbell, Moss, and Cooley to flourish. LMsexyAO 11-16-2008, 11:22 PM Is there a team in the nfl that gets less pressure on the qb than the skins. Well, we are currently in 26th place with 15 sacks. Those stats of course don't reflect after tonight's game wilsowilso 11-16-2008, 11:22 PM Yes. We are starting to see breakdowns on both lines -- Cornelius Griffin and Kedric Golston were eaten alive tonight. Not good for a team that has playoffs on its mind. To be fair though, this team hasn't had a good pass rush since Bruce Smith. You're joking right. Bruce Smith was terrible on the Redskins. |
