The 100 Greatest Singers of All Time : Rolling Stone (http://www.rollingstone.com/news/coverstory/24161972/page/103)
Some glaring ommissions to me: Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Maynard James Keenan.

I call BS on any list that doesn't include Maynard.

I was seriously thinking of starting a couple of threads ranking the worst singers and actors/actresses...
I have great ideas on those.

I hate Rolling Stone and their lists. A bunch of out of touch old guys stuck in the 60's.

Roy Orbison #13? Way too low. And ditto the Everlys at #90?
I like John Lennon but he's no great singer. He didn't think he was as good a singer as Paul and neither one would have said they were better than Orbison or the Everly Brothers. Rolling Stone is complete shit.

She's #51
Its funny how the mind works I saw the thread title an assumed we were just picking people who we thought should be in the top 100.

Good idea - I call thread-jack. I still haven't seen the RS list (blocked at work), but here are two for my list:
Maynard
Chris Cornell

After clicking the link I'm not so sure they are listed in any set order and it looks like its just a list of the top 100.
