That's kind of suprising seeing we beat them in Dallas, Romo's coming back from injury, and it's in DC.

I don't want to play the "respect" card b/c Vegas doesn't care about respect, just about making money. I would have though this to be a pickem game at best. At best. We've had Dallas's # lately, especially at home. I'm not a betting man, but am in a pickem league for $ (i guess i am then). This suprises me a little.

That's why, coupled with Portis' injury. They get their best player back, we likely lose ours. Plus we're way more knicked up overall than they are.
I could care less about the spread honestly.

Since Monday, it's been a 4 point swing...but with the news coming of the depleated starters available to Skins vs. the starters coming back for the Cowboys, it doesn't surprise me.

Spreads are all about money, it's got nothing to do with respect or who they think is going to win the game.

Best thing that could happen. The team has got to know that their last nationally televised game left people doubting them. I think this is a group of men who have a lot of pride and something like this will only help focus them. Being an underdog at home, on national television, against their biggest rival (who BTW has a worse record then them and who they have previously beaten) is the perfect thing to "get them back in the game" after the bye week.

Yes, their pros and shouldn't need something like this BUT they are also human. If they perceive this as a lack of respect, then it does nothing but help them as a team.

Blache was quoted as saying this is a special team. I said earlier that it's the Nov.- Dec. games that matter. I am betting that, during the bye, this group took a collective deep breath, recovered mentally and is now ready to roll through the back end of the schedule.

Watch - now they tank and, once again, all my optimism comes back to haunt me.

Just remember how badly we've perfromed during the 3rd quarter of the season the past 4 or 5 years. Add that the injury situation, and well, I for one have tempered optimism.

This game is so massive. I'm gonna be going ape shit Sunday night.

The point spread is based partly on the public's opinion. I bet the spread opened at Wash -3 and the public pounced on Dallas.

Plus considering the line has moved significantly since the beginning of the week, bettors are drinking the Romo Kool-Aid, hoping Portis won't play, and betting heavily on Dallas.

I think people are also forgetting that just because Romo is back, reports indicate that he and his pinky are still not 100% -- at least that's according to Mike Golic and Marcellus Wiley this morning on Mike & Mike.

Maybe we'll see some errant passes going into the wrong hands Sunday night.
