Yeah but Zorn saide a few times Kelly is way too far behind to contribute... not sure what's going on here but doesn't sound like Kelly will even be active.
Especially frustrated since so many rook WR/TE are having huge seasons already. Like someone else said it does feel like the coaches just didn't spend much time w/ the 2nd team - focused too much on starters. Maybe that's understandable though since everyone had to learn a brand new system and obviously you want your 1st team to be ready to play ball.

HTTR!

(I'm so f'n jacked for this sunday... )

Anthony's brother. :laughing-

My bad! Derrick, Anthony makes no difference, he won't be suiting up in a Skins uniform.

Thomas, Davis or Kelly doing something would just make my week. I'm all pumped up, if SA can do his thing on Sunday, what a day it would be!!!

I was just kidding with you DIRTEE. Yeah we need our rookies to step up. We also need Zorn to call their number and give them a chance to see what they can do. Sunday night would be a good time to start contributing. I'm really pumped for this game too. I can't wait to see our defense start laying the Riddell on their ass!

Really good news!

JASON TAYLOR, SHAWN SPRINGS WILL PLAY
Posted by Michael David Smith on November 16, 2008, 9:19 a.m.

Washington Redskins defensive end Jason Taylor and cornerback Shawn Springs will both play today against the Cowboys.

That’s very good news for the Redskins, whose defense will be closer to full strength than expected.

Although Taylor has struggled all season with a calf injury, Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Taylor is ready to go tonight against the Cowboys, and that Taylor is telling people he feels better than he has since June. And Springs is feeling good enough to go despite his own calf injury.

Still up in the air is whether Redskins running back Clinton Portis, who is listed as questionable with a knee injury, can play. Portis will test his knee in pre-game warmups and decide then whether he can play.

If Portis can’t go, Ladell Betts will start at running back.
