The only thing that is surprising about this rating is that the Redskins are as HIGH as they are. Prisco, the main voice of SportsHine has been a Redskin hater for years. Ever since Snyder hired Gibbs he has come up with one explanation after another as to why Gibbs will fail. The poor guy's brains are buried in fat cells - very little can get in or out.

These ratings are bunk. Thank god we actually get to play the games!

To put the Vikings above Philadelphia is almost as crazy as having the Ravens and Broncos above the Chiefs. This guys a tube.

The first team defense didn't surrender a TD the entire pre-season even after missing starters like Lavar and Barrow.

judging from preseason is whats not credible. or do you forget Spurrier's preseason? everything about this year's Redskins is new and only the Dline doesn't have any name or proven talent to give any benefit of the doubt. its a legit concern, and only seeing what Williams has done with them in regular season will shut anyone up.

What could they possibly have seen our offense do this far? On the other hand, the much maligned defense, D-line, pass rush etc. have been making plays, creating turnovers and getting sacks every game. I think one can judge a fair bit about how good a team's defense will be from pre-season - judging offense from the preseason is a much harder task, which you rightly point out.

I'm one of those who firmly believe that our offense will struggle a li'l bit in the first few games, and it will be our defense that keeps the record respectable.

thats a weird power ranking. If you dotn want to rank the skins high until they prove it, then fine. But some of those teams are definitly out of place.

Of course this conversion means nothing. We'll be able to atelast see how teams will play come next week.
